His Strength, Not Mine

Reflection
Philippians 4:13 is one of the Bible’s most quoted verses.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Paul wasn’t talking about accomplishing every dream.
He was talking about faithfully enduring every circumstance.
Whether he had abundance or little…
Comfort or suffering…
Freedom or imprisonment…
Christ remained enough.
This verse becomes even more beautiful when paired with Jesus’ words:
“Apart from Me you can do nothing.”
The Christian life isn’t about becoming independent.
It’s about becoming increasingly dependent upon Christ.
Dependence isn’t weakness.
It is where His strength becomes visible.

- What would dependence upon Jesus look like practically?
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Thank You that I never face today alone. Strengthen me where I am weak. Help me rely on You more than myself.
